What does my service include?
I currently offer 2, 1 hour sessions daily between the convenient times of 10:00 - 11:00 and 12:45 - 13:45. I collect your dog from your home and take him/her to a secure, private, large grass area in Long Buckby where they can enjoy a run around with other dogs before I drop them back home again.

Why choose me?
At Muddy Paws, dogs are able to run freely, play, jump, learn, socialise and have the time of their lives in a completely secure environment. My mission is and will always be to provide a safe, fun and professional service for your dog(s) with the highest standard of care and attention. Unlike taking your dog out for a walk on a lead, I can offer a service that will stimulate your dogs mind and body in a beautiful setting, whereby your dog can run around freely.

Do my dogs need a tag with my name and address on?
Yes. It is a requirement that your dog has a tag with a clear name and address on.

What happens if some of the dogs do not get on?
My number one priority is the safety and well-being of your dog(s). Muddy Paws aims to offer a safe and secure environment which, from my own experiences, may not always be found in your local park or area whilst unknown dogs are let off the lead. All dogs will have an induction visit where I will get to know each dogs individual characteristics and personality. If any dog shows signs of aggressive behaviour Muddy Paws reserves the right to refuse admission to any pets. Group sessions will be based on the age, characteristics and temperament of individual dogs. This will ensure your dog(s) get the most out of each session and have as much fun as possible!

Do dogs need to be vaccinated?
Yes. Vaccinations ensure that contagious and infectious diseases are prevented.

Do I need to be home when you pick up/drop off my dog?
Not at all! You do not need to be at home as most customers feel comfortable to share a set of keys. Alternatively, we can arrange a different way of access which is suitable for you. Please note that I am fully DBS checked.

Will you take my dog out in all weather conditions?
Absolutely! Occasionally, during extreme weather conditions I may contact you prior to a session to arrange a refund or reschedule if I feel that the weather may impact on your dogs health or safety. Alternatively, I may suggest to cut the session down to 30 minutes and give you a refund for the additional 30 minutes.

Do you cater for all dog breeds?
Yes. I only reserve the right to refuse dogs that are deemed as aggressive or bitches that are in season.

Do you let dogs off the lead?
Yes! The area is completely secure, therefore regardless of your dogs re-call they can enjoy an interactive and playful session with other dogs.

What if my dog is injured or runs away?
My number one priority is the safety of your pets. I am fully insured with Pet Plan for liability. Please note that I am also First Aid and CPR trained and always carry a basic first aid kit with me. However, I am not responsible for any loss or injury to a pet whilst in my care. It is the owners responsibility to ensure their pet is fully insured in order to cover emergency medical treatment. If medical treatment is required, I will contact you and transport the animal to the nearest vet immediately. Any costs incurred at the vets are to be paid by the pets owner.

What do you do with my key?
I am able to keep a spare set of house keys or you can have them returned after each visit. This will be discussed during the induction visit. Keys that are retained are kept in a safe, secure box which is kept locked. Addresses and contact details are never attached to your keys and will always be kept separate.

Will my dog be supervised at all times?
Yes - your dog will never be left unattended.

Are you insured?
Yes. I have full public liability insurance through Pet Plan.

How do I pay for the service?
I accept bank transfer, cash or cheque. For customers only using the service occasionally, payment will be taken upon collection of your dog or in advance via bank transfer. For regular customers, I require payment at the beginning of each month which is sent out via an email invoice.

Can my dog attend just one off, occasional sessions?
Yes. I suggest contacting me as early as possible so I  am able to accommodate your booking.

Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes. If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking then I will charge you for the appointment missed.
