A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
​
Welcome to Muddy Paws - a professional dog playgroup located in Long Buckby, on the border of Northamptonshire.
​
My name is Elis Brown and I have lived in the village of Long Buckby all my life. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and fantastic walks, my childhood was spent outdoors exploring and taking my dog for long walks.
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, however having spent a number of years in the classroom environment I decided to pursue my true passion of an outdoor life and career with animals - which is when Muddy Paws was born.
I have two wire fox terriers of my own (Ted and Pip!) and I have completed behavioural and agility classes which developed my interest in canine behaviour.
My mission is to provide a reliable, professional service that has a very high standard of care as I have a genuine desire to help animals live happy, active and healthy lives.
I have a Diploma in Canine Psychology and Behaviour and hope to enhance my professional canine training in the future.

THE SERVICE
​
Muddy Paws is a professional dog playgroup service.
This involves picking your dog up from your own home in a well equipped, spacious van and taking him/her to a private, exceptionally large, fully secure grass area in Long Buckby.
Your dog will have the opportunity to play and socialise with other dogs and have as much fun as possible!
The park is fully secure which allows your dog to roam and play off the lead. The park consists of dog toys, agility equipment and a constant supply of water.
This will allow your dog the freedom to experiment, grow, socialise and learn both independently and in a pack, whilst under constant supervision.
I aim to keep my dog groups small, to allow the dogs to establish long-lasting bonds and relationships.
INDUCTION VISIT

Before I begin my services, it is important that I meet your dog in their own home or in the paddocks in Long Buckby to gain an understanding of their temperament and daily routines.
This will allow me the opportunity to get to know your dog and any personal preferences on request.
Dogs that are aggressive to animals or other people, as well as bitches that are in season will be unable to attend sessions.

TIMES AND PAYMENT
​
I currently offer 2, 1 hour sessions Monday - Friday:
​
Morning session: 10:00 - 11:00
Afternoon session: 12:45 - 13:45
I now ONLY cover the Long Buckby area and it is £14 for 1 dog, £25 for two dogs from the same household.
​
For regular customers, payment is required at the beginning of each month via bank transfer or cash. Invoices are sent out via email.
